Problem Note 61776: When you attempt to validate an arithmetic operation that is in a worksheet, the validation might not yield the correct result
In SAS® Risk and Finance Workbench, when you attempt to validate an arithmetic operation that is in a worksheet, the validation might not yield the correct result.
This issue occurs because of floating-point arithmetic, which yields results that are not rounded, and can cause the validation to yield the incorrect results. For example, the values to be summed in a spreadsheet formula might be 0.4, 0.5, and 0.1. In the validation, these values evaluate to the not-rounded value of 0.99999999. Instead, the validation should yield the value of 1.0.
